09.20.13 - Bornarth/Mangum Wedding Celebration

This wedding was special to me for many reasons. Amanda and I went to high school together and shared a lot of great memories, cheering for many seasons and sports together. After high school we both continued our education at the finest university in the state, James Madison University (GO DUKES!!!).  Taylor went to a neighboring high school and even though we were not very close, we did work together one summer before college and shared many mutual friends. It is always nice to see long time friends and acquaintances get married. PLUS, I got to come home to my old stomping grounds, Loudoun County, Virginia and see many other long lost faces from teachers, parents and old friends.

It was a perfect day on September 20, 2013 at the Historic White Hall Manor in Bluemont, Virginia. Their vintage inspired silver and gold wedding captured nothing short of elegance while tying in the history, beauty and charm of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Their ceremony was held outside on the lawn and followed by a gorgeous sunset through cocktail hour. While Amanda and Taylor were off to take some photographs, their family and guests were able to walk the manor grounds and enjoy the breaktaking views of Virginia's foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

As the sun began to set, guests were welcomed in for the introduction of the Newlyweds! Silver linens draped the tables, brown chivari chairs, gold menu cards, mercury votives and a pop of white floral arrangements classically tied the look together.
